This year’s ‘Riot Fest’ pushed to 2021

Chicago’s ‘Riot Fest’ – initially planned for September 11-13, 2020 – has been officially pushed until next year, with the new dates now being September 17-19, 2021, with a Thursday ‘Preview Party’ on Sept. 16.

A statement from organizers reads:

Riot Fest is moving… to September 17-19, 2021. More bands, and headliners, and surprises still to be announced! Tickets are on sale now: http://ow.ly/1A1630qQCvI

If you already have your 2020 ticket, you’re in luck, it’s good for 2021.

We’ll miss you this year, but we’ll be back bigger and better in 2021 with a special Thursday Preview Party on September 16, 2021 with surprise sets from mystery bands and much more. See you in 458 days… http://ow.ly/4XVb30qQBRb

My Chemical Romance, who just rescheduled their 2020 North American tour, were set to headline this year’s gathering, and will continue to do so in 2021.

As of this posting, the fest is rounded out by sets from The Smashing Pumpkins, Run The Jewels, Pixies, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, Sublime With Rome, Dirty, Heads, Lupe Fiasco, New Found Glory, Gogol Bordello, Circle Jerks, Thrice, Circa Survive, Bayside, Jawbox and many more.
