VentanA and Deadly Apples postpone tour to 2027 following frontman’s injury

VentanA and Deadly Apples have postponed their upcoming “Saints of Sickness Tour” from November 2026 to February and March 2027 after VentanA frontman Richard “Stitch” Thomas suffered serious injuries in an accident. Originally scheduled support act Aeternum have also confirmed they will not participate in the rescheduled tour.

According to a statement shared by Deadly Apples, Thomas sustained a severely broken sternum and three broken ribs. The decision to reschedule the North American tour was made to allow him sufficient time to recover.

“Due to an accident in which VentanA frontman Richard ‘Stitch’ Thomas suffered a severely broken sternum and three broken ribs, the Saints of Sickness North American tour has been rescheduled from November 2026 to February–March 2027 to allow him time to fully recover,” the band stated.

The tour, originally scheduled to begin November 6 in Cadillac, Michigan, will now kick off February 26, 2027, in Cleveland, Ohio, at Globe Iron, with (216) also appearing on the bill.

Most of the previously announced performances have been rescheduled, although the original Cadillac and Detroit shows have been canceled. Refunds for those two dates are available at the point of purchase.

Previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performances.

Aeternum, who were originally scheduled to provide support throughout the tour, have announced that they will no longer be joining the run due to scheduling conflicts and medical reasons.

“Due to scheduling conflicts and medical reasons, Aeternum will not be able to join them on the rescheduled dates,” the band explained in a social media statement.

“We wish our friends with VentanA and Deadly Apples the best of luck and hopefully join them again in the future. Please go and support them and we will see you in 2027!”

Meanwhile, St. October have been confirmed as special guests on select dates from March 10 through March 20.

The updated itinerary also includes a venue change for the Cleveland show, a newly added March 20 performance at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan, and two dates with details still to be announced.

The Aquarium in Fargo, North Dakota, also confirmed that its originally scheduled November 11 show has been moved to March 3, 2027, with all previously purchased tickets being honored.
