Gradience announce debut UK tour, share “Vermin” video

Danish metal band Gradience have announced their first UK tour for March 2027, alongside Survivalist. The announcement also comes with the release of a new music video for “Vermin,” taken from their debut album, Anomaly, available now through Metal Blade Records.

The UK run kicks off March 2 in Huddersfield and includes stops in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Kingston, Bournemouth and Cardiff.

“Playing the UK is a real bucket-list moment for us,” said guitarist and vocalist Jakob Lærke Harris. “We’ve drawn so much inspiration from UK bands over the years, and many of those influences found their way into the writing and sound of Anomaly. To finally bring the album to the UK and play these songs for the audience that comes from such a huge part of our musical inspiration is incredibly exciting. And we’re stoked to be doing it alongside our friends in Survivalist!”

Before heading to the UK, Gradience will perform at Ålborg Metal Festival in November, followed by a series of Danish shows with Cabal in December.

The band have also shared a video for “Vermin,” the opening track from Anomaly, which combines elements of extreme metal, hip-hop and electronic music.

“Vermin is the opener for our album ‘Anomaly’, for good reason,” Harris explained. “It encapsulates everything the album represents in a flurry of riffs, rap bars, melancholic melodies and screams. It’s a personal favorite on the album for me.”

Formed after Harris connected with vocalist Gavin Mistry at a Cabal show in Copenhagen in 2022, Gradience bring together influences from blackened death metal, sludge, trap and hip-hop. The band’s lineup also includes drummer Frederik Kjelstrup Hansen and bassist Patrick Petersen.

Anomaly features 11 tracks and is available on CD, vinyl and digital formats.
