We Came As Romans have released a reimagined version of their song “where did you go?” featuring Australian band Headwreck. The track is accompanied by a new visualizer and appears on the expanded edition of their 2025 album, All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed, titled Circularity.
The collaboration came together after the bands toured Australia together, with We Came As Romans giving Headwreck the opportunity to put their own spin on the original track.
“We became friends with Headwreck while touring together in Australia, and we’ve been fans of their music for a while now,” vocalist Dave Stephens explained. “What we appreciate about them is their approach to making music and the sense of fun that comes through in everything they do.”
He added, “We were excited to hear their take on the song and give them room to bring that part of themselves to it.”
All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed: Circularity expands the original album with four new songs and six reimagined collaborations. The new tracks explore themes of death and rebirth, extending the concept behind the 2025 release.
Alongside Headwreck, the expanded collection features contributions from Make Them Suffer, Currents, After The Burial, HEAVENSGATE, Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker, Ladrones and Bury Tomorrow.
Among the reworked songs are “b2tm O,” which features a new chorus from Bury Tomorrow, and “culture wound O,” which has been rerecorded in Spanish with flamenco guitar.
We Came As Romans will return to the road later this month for a North American tour featuring dates with Wage War, Varials, Cane Hill and The Funeral Portrait. The band is also scheduled to appear on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise in January 2027.
