A Killer’s Confession, the alternative metal band fronted by former Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis, have released a music video for their new single, “Meat Hook.” The track appears on their upcoming sixth studio album, Victim 3, due November 13 through MNRK Heavy.
Speaking about the song, Reavis said: “‘Meat Hook’ is possibly my favorite song on the album. It is a confrontational anthem. It is finding acceptance on who you truly are good or bad and living up to it. Know thy self only then will you be truly free.”
The single follows the previously released “Roses” and the band’s cover of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”
Victim 3 concludes the conceptual trilogy that began with Victim 1 and continued with Victim 2. The story follows a vigilante serial killer whose pursuit of justice leads to violence and self-destruction, ultimately ending with the character awaiting execution on death row.
Recorded in Nashville and Denver, the album was created by Reavis alongside Evan McKeever and Dusty Boles.
A Killer’s Confession will also embark on their North American headlining Everything Comes Full Circle Tour with support from Dizasterpiece and Dead Things. The 24-date run begins November 4 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and includes an album release show on November 13 in Louisville, Kentucky.
