On April 15, 2016, German symphonic metal project Avantasia – led by Edguy vocalist Tobias Sammet – crashed New York City for a packed show at the PlayStation Theater as part of their world tour in support of their album ‘Ghostlights.’
The set featured long-running special guests in the form of Michael Kiske (Helloween), Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids), Jørn Lande (ex-Masterplan), Amanda Somerville (Trillium) and others.
