BABYMETAL have teamed up with Marvel for an exclusive variant cover celebrating the release of Marvel Zombies: War Zone (2026) #1.
The limited-edition BABYMETAL version features artwork by Phil Noto and is restricted to 3,500 copies. The cover brings the Japanese metal trio into the Marvel Zombies universe alongside the undead heroes of Marvel Comics.
Marvel Zombies: War Zone #1 centers on a zombie outbreak that rapidly overruns Manhattan. As Earth’s Mightiest Heroes succumb to the infection and the city is sealed off, survivors are left battling the growing horde inside the quarantine zone.
The story also follows the Punisher as he fights his way through the devastated city in search of answers.
Pre-orders for the BABYMETAL edition began September 1, with an additional A! Smart pre-order scheduled to open September 7 at 6:00 p.m. JST. The $35 edition is currently listed as sold out through BABYMETAL’s online store.
Only 3,500 copies of the BABYMETAL Marvel Zombies: War Zone variant are being produced.
