Breaking In A Sequence have released a new single, “Don’t Run,” via TLG|ZOID, with distribution through Virgin Music Group.
The track is the second preview of the Huntington Beach, California melodic alternative metal band’s upcoming full-length album, INANIMATE, which is scheduled for release later this year.
According to the band, “Don’t Run” was the first song written with drummer BC Vaught after he joined the lineup in 2022.
“‘Don’t Run’ was the first song written with new drummer BC Vaught,” the band said. “We didn’t write anything for the first year and a half after to give us time to meld together. The song carries the NuMetal torch from the early 2000’s with a perfect blend of melody, groove and aggression. It has a rawness that is absent in today’s music.”
The song was produced by Chris Collier alongside the band, with Collier also handling mixing and mastering.
