CBGB Festival 2026, scheduled to take place Saturday, September 26 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, has been canceled due to forecasted severe weather and high winds in the New York City area.
Organizers announced the cancellation Friday, saying the decision was made after consulting with local officials.
“After consultation with local officials, we have made the difficult decision to cancel The Prodigy on September 25th and CBGB Festival on September 26th due to forecasted severe weather and high wind conditions in the New York Metropolitan area throughout the weekend,” organizers said.
“The safety of our fans, the artists, and local crews is our top priority.”
The Prodigy’s separate September 25 show at Under the K Bridge Park has also been canceled.
Saturday’s CBGB Festival was set to feature Morrissey, Interpol, Patti Smith, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Bikini Kill, Buzzcocks, Agnostic Front, Mannequin Pussy, Circle Jerks, Militarie Gun, High Vis and more across two stages.
Refunds are available at the original point of purchase. Fans who purchased tickets through AXS will be automatically refunded.
The cancellation comes as severe wind warnings have affected other major events around the New York metropolitan area, including AC/DC’s September 25 concert at MetLife Stadium, which will also not take place as scheduled.
