Swedish black metal veterans Dark Funeral have announced a new live album titled A Beast To Praise, set for release on August 21, 2026 via Century Media.
Recorded in 2022 at Fållan in Stockholm, the album captures the band’s live performance during the tour for We Are The Apocalypse, spanning 13 tracks and nearly 70 minutes. A first preview arrives today with the live video for “The Arrival of Satan’s Empire.”
Frontman Lord Ahriman says the recording documents a key moment for the band following their return to the stage after the pandemic, and closes the chapter on We Are The Apocalypse while they begin work on new material for their next studio album.
A Beast To Praise will be available on CD, vinyl, and digital formats (pre-order). The band will also join Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir for the “In League With Satan” European tour this October.
