Danish death metal band Dawn of Demise have released their sixth studio album, Feed My Absurdity, through Unique Leader Records. The band have also shared a visualizer for the track “Reviving Demise.”
The 10-track album marks the group’s first full-length release in nearly seven years and features the return of original guitarist Jakob Haagen Nyholm. The record was produced by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, The Haunted).
“Having not released anything for almost 7 years, the band was more than ready to get the ball rolling again,” bassist Bjørn Jensen said. “Jakob Nyholm (guitar) has returned to the fold. He was in the band at the very beginning playing on the demo and on the first album.”
Jensen added that the new material stays close to the band’s established sound, combining death metal with elements of slam, while taking a more organic approach to production.
Feed My Absurdity also includes the previously released singles “Ominous” and the title track, both of which have accompanying videos.
