Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Poison & Joan Jett kick off Stadium Tour in Atlanta (photos)

Following years of postponements due to the COVID pandemic, the Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts North American stadium tour launched last night, June 16th at Truist Park in Atlanta, GA. See live concert photos, including shots off special guest openers Classless Act, below thanks to trek producers Live Nation and Getty Images.

In case you missed it and during the tour opener, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee was replaced on drums by Tommy Clufetos (Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, L.A. Rats) due to breaking four ribs 2 weeks earlier. “Man ya’ll ain’t gonna believe this shit!….I broke 4 fucking ribs!” exclaimed Tommy on social media. “But I’ve been resting and healing and even though the doctor tells me I shouldn’t play at all, you know I’m stubborn and I’ll beast through the pain every show for as many songs as I can! And have no fear, my boy Tommy Clufetos is here to help me out until I’m back at 100%…we’ve all been waiting years for this moment and there’s no way I’m missing this! On with the show!

Drumming set backs aside, Mötley Crüe went on to perform iconic hits like “Wild Side,” “Shout at the Devil,” “Looks That Kill,” “Dr. Feelgood,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Kickstart My Heart” and more during their 16-song set. “WOW! Thank you for an absolutely incredible Stadium Tour start, Atlanta-Crüeheads!!” The Crue added on their socials. “We’ve all waited for this for 3 years and we can’t wait to see you all out on the road. Miami you’re next.”

During their 18-song closing set, Def Leppard live debuted new songs “Fire It Up” and “This Guitar” from their recently released twelfth studio album ‘Diamond Star Halos.’ The English rock legends also dished out a slew of chart-toppers like “Love Bites,” “Hysteria,” “Rocket,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Rock of Ages,” “Photograph” and more.

The ongoing stadium tour continues this weekend in Florida for stops at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and Camping World Stadium in Orlando. See all remaining tour dates after the gallery below.
