Electric Callboy turn Brooklyn Paramount into a full-blown party (photos)

German electronicore favorites Electric Callboy recently wrapped up the North American leg of their TANZNEID World Tour. The trek kicked off in mid-April in Dallas and made stops in Los Angeles, Montreal, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and more before concluding in Boston on Wednesday.

We caught the NYC stop at Brooklyn Paramount on May 26, where a packed house witnessed Electric Callboy deliver an explosive 20-song set. The performance featured several tracks from the band’s upcoming album TANZNEID, including the title track, “Revery,” “Hypercharged,” and “Elevator Operator,” while fan favorites like “Hypa Hypa,” “Pump It,” “Spaceman,” and “We Got the Moves” kept the crowd bouncing and partying throughout the night.

As expected from an Electric Callboy production, the show leaned heavily into spectacle. The stage setup featured vibrant LED visuals, animated backdrops, strobing lights, smoke effects, CO2 blasts, costume changes, and perfectly timed confetti cannons — all of which paired exceptionally well with Brooklyn Paramount’s stunning aesthetic, blending elegance and chaos into one unforgettable experience.

Additional highlights of the evening included a blistering drum solo, followed by the band gathering in the middle of the packed crowd with an acoustic guitar and keyboard to perform stripped-down renditions of “Fuckboi” and the opening portion of their Maggie Reilly cover “Everytime We Touch.” Fans sang along loudly with phone lights raised in the air before the band made their way back through the audience to properly finish the song on stage with their full electric setup.

Earlier in the set, the band also surprised the crowd with a cover of Sum 41’s “Still Waiting.” During the encore, the band unleashed their hit collaboration with Babymetal, “RATATATA.” Before closing out the night, the band gathered for a selfie with the crowd before thanking everyone in attendance and taking their final bow.

Opening the night, Scene Queen kicked things off with a high-energy set that leaned into her playful, pop-metal style, including tracks like “Barbie & Ken,” “18+,” and “Pink Rover.” Polaris followed with a heavier, more intense set, delivering standout songs like “Masochist,” “Hypermania,” and “Nightmare,” setting the tone before Electric Callboy took over the night.
