Europe have released a new single, “Scandinavian Eyes,” offering another preview of their forthcoming studio album, Come This Madness.
The album is set to arrive September 25 through Silver Lining Music and follows previously released tracks “The Cult of Ignorance,” “One on One” and the title track.
“This driving riff, orchestral magic, vocal and guitar melodies make this one of my favourite Europe songs in a long time!” frontman Joey Tempest said of the new track. “A lyric about crossing the line between good and ‘not so good’… We’re very proud of this track and can’t wait to perform it live!”
“Scandinavian Eyes” arrives with a performance video directed by Patric Ullaeus.
Come This Madness was recorded at RMV Studio in Stockholm and produced by Tom Dalgety, whose credits include Ghost, Rammstein, Pixies and Opeth. Mike Fraser handled the mix. The 11-track album also features guest backing vocals from Ghost frontman Tobias Forge and Opeth’s Mikael Åkerfeldt.
Shortly after the album’s release, Europe will head out on The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour. The run begins September 30 in Glasgow and continues across Europe through the fall, followed by shows in Japan in January 2027.
