Former Bad Wolves singer Tommy Vext has issued an in-studio clip featuring a full rendition of his cover of the Nirvana hit song “Heart-Shaped Box” — check out the video below.
“Took a second pass at one of my favorite songs from the grunge era by one of the greatest rock bands of all time #Nirvana,” says Vext regarding the cover.
As noted, Vext has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help fund his upcoming covers album. The crowd-funding page has raised over $174,000 as of this posting.
As a solo artist, Vext has so far posted in-studio covers of “Look at Me Now” by Chris Brown, “The Hills” by The Weeknd, “Look What You Made Me Do” by Taylor Swift, “Last Resort” by Papa Roach, “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton, “Video Games” by Lana Del Rey, and “Cry Me A River” by Justin Timberlake.
