Former Bad Wolves singer Tommy Vext has issued an in-studio clip featuring a full rendition of his cover of the Chris Stapleton hit song “Tennessee Whiskey” [originally written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove, and as previously covered by George Jones] — check out the video below.
“Any country fans in the house?” asked Vext via his social media account. “I took a stab at one of my favorite renditions of #TennesseeWhiskey by the incomparable @chrisstapleton – Let me know what you guys think!”
As noted, Vext has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help fund his upcoming covers album. The crowd-funding page has raised over $160,000 as of this posting.
