Gloryhammer share new single and live video “Warriors of Auchtermuchty”

Gloryhammer have released “Warriors of Auchtermuchty,” the latest single from their upcoming fifth album, Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, due out October 16 through Napalm Records.

The new track expands the band’s ongoing fantasy storyline, focusing on warriors from the hometown of antagonist Zargothrax as they pledge allegiance to their emperor. The song arrives with an accompanying live video.

Gloryhammer commented: “GLORYHAMMER have been awarded the world record for using the word ‘Auchtermuchy’ the most times in a song. We hope you like saying it as much as we do.”

“Warriors of Auchtermuchty” appears as the seventh track on Space 1993: Wrath of Kor-Virliath, a direct sequel to 2015’s Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards. The album follows Angus McFife V on a journey through spacetime into the distant future of 1993.

Produced by Gloryhammer and mixed by Jacob Hansen, the 11-track record is set to explore a broader mix of power metal, thrash, synth-driven rock and orchestral elements.

The band will support the album with a European and UK release tour alongside Majestica and Arion, beginning October 16 in Toulouse and wrapping up November 22 in Glasgow.
