GWAR, Napalm Death & Eyehategod infiltrated Irving Plaza on Halloween (photos)

Intergalactic monster metallers GWAR are currently wrapping up their massive ‘Scumdogs 30th Anniversary Tour’ with crushing support from Napalm Death and Eyehategod. The outing is set to conclude on the east coast with a show in Washington, DC at 9:30 Club on Monday night [TIX] and a return to New York City’s recently renovated Irving Plaza on Tuesday night [TIX].

On Halloween, the run stormed Irving for a blood-soaked evening that saw GWAR (who are supporting their recently released effort ‘Scumdogs XXX Live‘ via Pit Records) dominate a sold-out crowd with gruesome classics like “The Salaminizer,” “Maggots,” “Sick of You,” “Vlad the Impaler,” “Cool Place to Park,” “F**K This Place,” and much more. Also and as a special treat for hardcore fans, long running GWAR nemesis Techno Destructo has been making a special appearance on the run, even getting into an epic three-way battle with the mighty Sawborg Destructo and the lovable BoneSnapper. Check out pics (all shots by Johnny Perilla) and fan-filmed videos from NYC below.

In more news, GWAR and Knuckleheadz recently announced a partnership to unleash the first series of their ‘GWAR Half Pints,’ featuring 4-inch figures of Blothar, JiZMak and Beefcake — you can get your hands on these disgustingly cute playthings here. The mutated gang also dropped a bunch of nifty NFTs at the start of the trek, but they’re all sold-out now.
