Haken have announced their new EP, in a fever dream, due out digitally on July 17, with CD and vinyl editions following on September 18.
Alongside the announcement, the UK progressive metal band have released the EP’s latest single, “delirium,” accompanied by an official music video.
Co-produced and mixed by George Lever (Loathe, Sleep Token), the five-track release also features bass performances from Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, The Aristocrats) and Adam “Nolly” Getgood (Periphery).
Speaking about the EP, the band said: “This EP was born from a period of reflection and rediscovery. Over the last few years, we’ve faced challenges that forced us to look inward, both as musicians and as people, and the songs on this record are the result of that journey.”
They added: “We allowed ourselves to be completely honest in the writing process… That vulnerability gave these songs a weight and purpose unlike anything we’ve created before.”
The full track listing is:
1. in a fever dream
2. delirium
3. eclipsed by you
4. bleeding sky
5. lotus
