Insomnium & Infected Rain added to Eluveitie’s North American trek

Eluveitie previously announced their fall North American tour for September and October.

The trek has now added Insomnium as co-headliners, plus Infected Rain as special guest opening support.

Regarding the initial tour announcement, Eluveitie said:

It’s been way too fucking long and it felt just great to finally come to North America in September and October last year! But that simply was not enough! Our last studio album “Ategnatos” perhaps was our most intuitional album and it definitely marked one of our most creative stages ever. And our last 12 months – the first half of the ATEGNATOS WORLD TOUR cycle – also manifested that: We were constantly evolving ourselves, refining our performance, reinventing our shows! And in that sense – and that spirit! – we cannot wait to come back to North America and to fucking prove every single word of that! Our music is our lives, the stage is where we belong and YOU ALL are the ones to give us the chance to do what we love! It’s time to give back what we can! So don’t miss this – we’ll all share unforgettable moments!

Today, Eluveitie updated fans with the fresh news:

As promised, we’re working hard on our future shows. We truly hope that the global situation will calm down until fall and we’ll be able to meet you all on the road again. 🔥

Today we present you the full line up for our upcoming US/Canada tour in September and October 2020:

Please welcome our friends from Insomnium and Infected Rain to the party! 🤘🏻

As we all know, Insomnium’s spring North American tour with Omnium Gatherum was cancelled due to the current global pandemic cause by COVID-19.

Infected Rain vocalist Lena posted the following:

Like a mouth of fresh air and a new chapter in our lives, this tour is going to change it all. We are happy to announce that INFECTED RAIN is going to support Eluveitie and Insomnium on a North American tour in September/October of 2020.
