Progressive/melodic power metal greats Kamelot are still basking in the success of their latest chart-topping album, ‘The Awakening,’ with grand celebrations. They’re presently rocking their North American ‘Kamelot: Awaken The World Tour 2024,’ supported directly by Swedish heavy metal pioneers, HammerFall. The stage will come alive each night with the rising modern symphonic metal band Ad Infinitum, part of Napalm Records like Kamelot, and featuring Kamelot’s touring guest vocalist, Melissa Bonny.

The tour, without HammerFall but with the inclusion of Boston-based symphonic metal band Seven Spires, made a stop in Huntington, New York, at The Paramount on April 26th. The evening witnessed Kamelot delivering a robust 17-song setlist, showcasing several fresh tracks from ‘The Awakening,’ including “The Great Divide,” “Opus of the Night (Ghost Requiem),” “New Babylon,” “Willow,” “NightSky,” and “One More Flag in the Ground.”

During their stay in Long Island, Kamelot also treated fans to a series of beloved songs, including “March of Mephisto,” “Forever,” “Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife),” “When the Lights Are Down,” and “Liar Liar (Wasteland Monarchy).” The performance showcased Tommy Karevik’s incomparable stage presence and vocal agility, alongside the refined technical skills of guitarist Thomas Youngblood, drummer Alex Landenburg, keyboardist Oliver Palotai, and bassist Sean Tibbetts.

Kamelot’s North American tour will conclude with their final stop in Tampa, Florida, at Jannus Landing on May 25th.
