NYCC 2024 returns to the Javits Center for a pop culture extravaganza (photos, video)

The iconic New York Comic Con made its triumphant return to the Javits Center from October 17–20, welcoming over 200,000 fans for four action-packed days of celebrity appearances, comic legends, and amazing cosplay.

The pop culture celebration brought out guests from hit shows including HBO’s The Penguin, Starz’s Outlander, and Netflix’s The Electric State, among many others. Big names like Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Orlando Bloom hit the show floor to meet fans, snap photos, and sign autographs.

Fans also packed the auditoriums for panels celebrating all things comics, including Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing, Moon Man with Kid Cudi, and IDW Publishing: The Next 25 Years, among others. Attendees were also treated to exclusive sneak peeks of upcoming films such as M3GAN 2.0, Venom: The Last Dance, and Karate Kid: Legend, and more.

As usual, NYCC delivered hordes of outstanding cosplay, with waves of fans filling the convention halls dressed as their favorite characters. During our stroll, we spotted Marvel and Star Wars icons, countless versions of Art the Clown from the Terrifier franchise, an impressive Ryuk from the Death Note manga series, plenty of Pokémon and Ninja Turtles, and much more.
