Ozzy Osbourne talks new album, Sharon + more (audio)

Ozzy Osbourne sat down with co-host Billy Morrison for another episode of Ozzy Speaks on SiriusXM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard. Throughout the episode Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Morrison spoke about Ozzy’s upcoming album that he is currently working on with Andrew Watt. Ozzy also opening up about wife Sharon Osbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne on his new album: “At this point? I’m like a pregnant hen, you know, I’m like, I’ll be critical with everyone.

Ozzy Osbourne on wife Sharon Osbourne: “Well, she’s been through the mill of it and, and you know, all I can tell you if my wife was, was slightly racist or tell you, she’s the possibly the most unrighteous person I’ve ever met. And I’m not just saying that, you know…. But she’s weathered the storm. She’s uh, she’s marching on.

I mean, but it’s still unpleasant issue. It’s one of them things once you’re accused of it, people tie with that brush and it’s very hard to shake up.

Well now I just go ‘Okay. Yeah.’ Could it be, if she got caught doing something that I know that was wrong. I go, ‘whoa man.’ Cause when Sharon first got the news, she was devastated. She was like, ‘why are they saying this about me?’

The Ozzy Speaks episode, airs today, May 17 at 5:00 pm ET on SiriusXM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard, will be available on the SiriusXM app and will rebroadcast on Ozzy’s Boneyard throughout the week.

Ozzy Osbourne is Working on a New Album With Andrew Watt:

Billy Morrison: Yes. So you’re working on another record…

Ozzy Osbourne: With some interesting people going to be on the album, which I can’t really disclose.

Billy Morrison: Right. Are you excited? You like what you’re doing?

Ozzy Osbourne: At this point? I’m like a pregnant hen, you know, I’m like, I’ll be critical with everyone.

Billy Morrison: Yeah. Cause you’re working with Andrew [Watt] again, right?

Ozzy Osbourne: Yeah. He goes in with a band. He gets some things going and I’ll go ‘yo like that. No, I don’t like that. That’s okay.’ We’ve got like 13, 14 really strong songs.

Billy Morrison: Do you still get excited?

Ozzy Osbourne: Course I get excited, but it’s something that’s creative that I can get my head around.

Billy Morrison: Do you still get that hair?

Ozzy Osbourne: Oh yeah. If I want to get something really special that I go, ‘yes, this is a winner.’ There’s one called Patient Number Nine. You see it as, it’s one we wrote about Sharon [Osbourne] and I. And as you know, Sharon poor, Sharon has been going to the mill lately.

Billy Morrison: She has, I don’t want to get into details, but

Ozzy Osbourne: Well, she’s been through the mill of it and, and you know, all I can tell you if my wife was, was slightly racist or tell you, she’s the possibly the most unrighteous person I’ve ever met. And I’m not just saying that, you know, she…

Billy Morrison: I would totally concur. I’ve known you guys for 25 years and, it stunned me when it started happening. I just there’s other stuff underneath it. Cause she’s not racist. It’s simple as that. But I mean, I, you know, this…

Ozzy Osbourne: But she’s weathered the storm. She’s uh, she’s marching on.

Billy Morrison: Well, I’ll tell you what, I texted her as it was going down, as I said, ‘just ignore the haters. Cause you’re an original gangster’ and that’s exactly what she is. You know, she, she weathers the storm.

Ozzy Osbourne: I mean, but it’s still unpleasant issue. It’s one of them things once you’re accused of it, people tie with that brush and it’s very hard to shake up.

Billy Morrison: Yeah. You guys have weathered more than your fair share of storms.

Ozzy Osbourne: This was just one of the bumps in the road. You’ll get through this.

Billy Morrison: When, when bumps in the road come, what goes through your head?

Ozzy Osbourne: Well now I just go ‘Okay. Yeah.’ Could it be, if she got caught doing something that I know that was wrong. I go, ‘whoa man.’ Cause when Sharon first got the news, she was devastated. She was like, ‘why are they saying this about me?’

Billy Morrison: Do you ever wish people would just leave you the f–k alone?

Ozzy Osbourne: No. Cause I’m in the public eye.
