Long Island hardcore outfit Pain of Truth have announced their sophomore album, Pain of Truth, due out September 25 via DAZE (pre-order).
Produced by Will Putney (Body Count, Incendiary, Counterparts), the 11-track effort follows the band’s breakout run over the past several years and continues their blend of old-school hardcore with modern heaviness.
Alongside the album announcement, Pain of Truth have released the lead single, “Unforgiven,” accompanied by a performance-based music video directed by Luis Hernandez and Tyler Bradberry.
Vocalist Michael Brian Smith said of the track: “I wrote this track to give a sense of hope in horrible times. Using your energy to make a move and turning it into a win.”
