German metal powerhouse Rammstein have announced the cancellation of their planned 2020 European stadium trek, with the possibility of maybe being able to reschedule the gigs in the future.
A statement from the band regarding said European tour reads as follows:
Due to local event restrictions related to COVID-19, which now affect almost all planned dates, the band’s 2020 stadium tour can unfortunately not take place.
We are currently checking whether it is possible to reschedule the dates and will communicate any updates as soon as possible!
All tickets will remain valid until then.
Thank you again for your understanding and patience.
The band’s European run was set to take off on May 25 in Klagenfurt, Austria at Wörthersee Stadion. No word yet on the fate of the band’s North American tour, which is scheduled to ignite in August.
