Australian metalcore band Reliqa have announced their sophomore album, High Risk Thoughts, set for release on February 12, 2027, via Nuclear Blast.
The band have also shared a music video for the album’s opening track and lead single, “Serum.”
“‘Serum’’s sound represents a sort of bridge from where we were to where we are now, so it felt apt to have it not only open the new record but also mark its announcement to the world,” the band said.
They added, “It’s low and menacing with a mechanical edge (heavily inspired by the Danish prog legends VOLA), but we’ve also loaded it with some fun twists and turns.”
High Risk Thoughts follows Reliqa’s 2024 debut album, Secrets of the Future. The new record features 10 tracks and continues the band’s blend of metalcore, progressive elements and electronic influences.
Reliqa will also embark on their first North American tour in February 2027, supporting Northlane on a run of U.S. and Canadian dates.
