Temple of Bones have released their new single, “Sky Is Like Ocean,” taken from their upcoming debut album, Walk The Winds, due November 13 via Relapse Records.
The band features former Ripping Corpse and Dim Mak members Scott Ruth (vocals) and Brandon Thomas (drums), alongside guitarist Mike Schweigert (Lord Sterling, Full Speed Ahead) and bassist Dennis Carroll (Torture Krypt, Dim Mak).
Speaking about the new track, Ruth said: “‘Sky Is Like Ocean’ is about struggle, e.g. recording was like a fever dream for me and my body was racked up from sickness, climbing the studio stairs was like scaling a mountain; once I got to the top though it was like black magic and I made it through.”
Walk The Winds was produced by Phil Caivano (Monster Magnet) alongside the band and features six tracks, including the previously released single “Black Horizon.”
The album will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
