The Philip H. Anselmo-led blackened metal act Scour (also featuring current and former members of Pig Destroyer, Cattle Decapitation, Misery Index and Criminal Element) played a special one-off concert in New York City at the popular Brooklyn concert spot and bar, Saint Vitus, on June 14, 2017. Necroptic Engorgement and Ampallang Infection provided support on the bill.
The BK gig was a warmup show for Scour’s ‘Hellfest’ appearance in Clisson, FR just a few days later. The band’s live shenanigans were in support of their six-track debut EP, ‘The Grey,’ which they released in 2016 through Anselmo’s own Housecore Records. The band’s latest effort, an EP dubbed ‘Black,’ was released just this past November.
