Swedish rock band Smash Into Pieces have revealed that three of their members were involved in a collision with a moose while traveling to a music video shoot.
The band shared the news on social media this morning, explaining that Adam, Per and Benjamin were involved in the accident last night. Thankfully, all three are okay, though the group said they are “understandably shaken and sore after what happened.”
Photos shared alongside the update show extensive damage to the vehicle, including a shattered windshield and damage to the interior.
Despite the accident, Adam is feeling well enough to perform at the band’s scheduled headline appearance at Nexus Festival in Leipzig tomorrow. Per and Benjamin, however, will not be able to take the stage as they recover.
Smash Into Pieces confirmed that Adam and APOC will still perform, with Emanuel Magnil stepping in on guitar for the show.
“We’re going to make the absolute best of the situation and give you everything we’ve got, despite the circumstances,” the band stated. “Thank you so much for your understanding and support.”
We’re glad to hear everyone involved is okay and wish Per and Benjamin a speedy recovery.
