Portland, Oregon-based heavy metal band Unchained Vengeance have released their new single “Warrior Heart,” taken from their upcoming debut album, Unbound and Unforgiving, due October 30 via Nameless Grave Records.
The track marks the second single from the 10-song effort, following the previously released “The Whisper of Sorrowsbane.”
“Look deep inside yourself, into the depths of forgotten dreams, and battles past…that is where you will find your heart,” guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Nick Wusz said of the new song. “From Birth, through Present Day, and into the Future, you will walk alone, unafraid, knowing that you hold the ultimate key to everlasting hope.”
Unchained Vengeance features vocalist Nick Courtney, formerly of Vicious Rumors and Iron Maiden tribute band Fear of the Dark, alongside Wusz, who has performed with Dolven and Travellers Rest.
Unbound and Unforgiving draws on traditional and epic heavy metal, with songs exploring themes of fantasy, battle, revenge and redemption. The album also features instrumental interludes performed by Fen Walker.
The record was tracked at Cirrus Studios in Portland, with vocals recorded at Perfect Audio in Vancouver, Washington. Mixing and mastering were handled by Pooya Entezari, while the cover artwork was created by Silvana Massa.
