We Were Promised Jetpacks postpone U.S. fall tour dates

Scottish rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks have been forced to postpone their planned November east coast tour in support of their incoming new album titled ‘Enjoy the View’ (out September 10th via Big Scary Monsters). The trek was postponed “due to safety concerns and rising cases of COVID-19,” as per a presser.

They add, “The eight-day run of shows was scheduled to kick off on November 13 in Hamden, CT at Space Ballroom and conclude on November 21 in Cambridge, MA at the Sinclair. The rescheduled shows will take place in the spring of 2022 and all upcoming North American tour dates are listed below. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows and advanced tickets for the tour can be purchased HERE.”

We Were Promised Jetpacks’ Adam Thomas adds, “We’re really sorry to say that our November 2021 U.S. tour dates are being postponed, and added onto our spring 2022 tour. Tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date. We were hoping to celebrate a joyous return to the stage with you all sooner rather than later but the uncertainty around international travel and the ever changing COVID-19 situation means it’s just not possible. It sucks! But we can’t wait to be back next year and make up for lost time. All other dates UK and Europe are unchanged!
