New York crossover thrash outfit Extinction A.D. have released their latest single, “Blood Hoax,” alongside an accompanying music video.
“Blood Hoax” is the band’s sixth standalone single released in the past six months and follows “They Live, They Die,” “Center of Zero,” “Truth and Consequences” featuring Brian Audley, “Thaw,” and “Dead Men Running.”
“‘Blood Hoax’ is a million miles an hour and off the charts intensity,” vocalist and guitarist Rick Jimenez said. Lyrically, he described the track as targeting people who “can only pump themselves up by tearing other people down,” adding that “empty barrels make the most noise.”
Extinction A.D. will support the new material with upcoming appearances at the Within These Walls 2026 festival in Phoenix, Arizona, and a September show in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
