A Perfect Circle have released a new live video for “Starless,” filmed during the band’s sold-out London performance this summer. The footage captures the song’s live debut as the single spends its second consecutive week at No. 1 on the Active Rock radio charts.
Speaking about the track when it was first released, vocalist Maynard James Keenan said, “Of course I’m excited to release the recordings, but our songs always take on an expanded personality once we start playing them live.”
“Starless” was recorded at guitarist Billy Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California, with Howerdel handling production and Matty Green (U2, Florence + the Machine, TV on the Radio) mixing. The recording also features longtime collaborator Josh Freese on drums.
“Some songs get kicked around and massaged for years,” Howerdel said. “But once in a while, one takes shape quickly, as if it had been there all along.”
The band also recently released another new song, “To Whom It May Concern.”
A Perfect Circle will resume touring on November 25 in Mexico City, with performances scheduled across Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii through December.
The group will then launch a North American tour on April 13, 2027, in Vancouver. Puscifer will join the trek from April 13–25, followed by The Cult from April 27 through June 13.
