Earlier this year, LA metallers Bad Wolves released a cover of Rihanna‘s hit song “Bitch Better Have My Money” exclusively via their Patreon page (subscription required). For those not subscribed to the band’s crowd-funding campaign, singer Tommy Vext has made the song available in full for free via a video shot in studio and posted on his Instagram.
“DONT ACT LIKE YOU FORGOT,” stated Vext. “AMERICANS SINGING THIS TO THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT RIGHT NOW LOL. At least all my #Bitcoiners out there having a fucking blast the past few day.” He commented further, “Finally gonna start putting together a track list to be released as my first cover album & have a bunch of more fire queen up for our patreon Wolfpack family.”
Bad Wolves’ Patreon page has so far spawned covers from music off the ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas‘ soundtrack, plus acts like AWOLNATION, Hozier, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Guns N’ Roses, Chris Stapleton, Tears For Fears, Big Pun/Fat Joe, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Alice in Chains and more.
