Dead Poet Society share new single “Miami For The Weekend”

Dead Poet Society have shared “Miami For The Weekend,” the final preview of their new album Monarch before it arrives on October 2 through Spinefarm.

The new track follows previously released singles “Cold,” “Roach” and “Sinner Systems,” all taken from the band’s forthcoming 12-song record.

Monarch was produced by Mutemath frontman Paul Meany, whose credits include Twenty One Pilots and Pierce The Veil, and mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Adam Hawkins. Recording took place at Valley View Studios and The Park in Los Angeles.

“We wanted to carve out our own piece of territory,” vocalist and guitarist Jack Underkofler says of the album. “I just wanted to swing for the fences with this one. All the things I felt made us, I wanted to see how much deeper I could go with them and try to boil down the essence of the feeling that makes Dead Poet Society who we are.”

Monarch follows 2024’s FISSION and the band’s 2021 debut, -!-. The album is available for pre-order on vinyl, CD and digitally.

Dead Poet Society will take the new record on the road shortly after its release. Their U.S. co-headlining tour with Honey Revenge begins October 23 in San Diego, with Hunny and Broadside joining as support. The band will then head overseas in January for an extensive European and UK run that continues into March.
