Europe have released the title track from their upcoming studio album, Come This Madness, which arrives this Friday, September 25 via Silver Lining Music (pre-order).
“Come This Madness” is the latest preview of the record, following previously released singles “The Cult of Ignorance,” “One on One” and “Scandinavian Eyes.” The new song is accompanied by a video featuring behind-the-scenes and live footage of the band filmed throughout 2026.
Speaking about the album, Europe frontman Joey Tempest said: “With ‘Come This Madness,’ we wanted to write and produce songs in the spirit of the old days. There are plenty of soaring melodies and big choruses, and we worked hard on the production. We had a lot of fun in the studio making the album. There are strong connections to our past throughout the record and I think a lot of Europe fans are going to love it!”
Tempest also discussed some of the ideas behind the record: “With this album, I think we’ve looked around at what’s happening in the world and tried to describe some of it through the songs. But at the end of the day, it’s still entertainment, it’s still music, and most importantly, it’s still about having fun!”
Come This Madness features artwork by Storm Studios and will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
Europe will follow the album’s release with their “Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour,” beginning September 30 in Glasgow. The trek includes shows throughout Europe before continuing with three dates in Japan in January 2027.
