Ice Nine Kills played The Paramount in NY (photos)

Boston, Massachusetts-based horror movie-themed metallers Ice Nine Kills recently concluded a fall U.S. tour alongside Bad Omens, Currents and Fame On Fire, which ignited on November 10th in Jacksonville, NC at the Limelight and came to a grand close on December 5th in Portland, ME at the State Theatre.

We caught the Huntington, NY concert at The Paramount on November 30th, which featured a 16-song setlist from Ice Nine Kills. Welcoming the crowd with John Carpenter’s popular ‘Halloween Theme,’ the band kicked off their set with the opening 4 minutes off their newest album on Fearless Records, ‘The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood,’ hitting the crowd with “Opening Night…” and “Welcome to Horrorwood.” The band would go on to perform a slew of fresh new tracks like “A Rash Decision,” “Hip to Be Scared,” “Funeral Derangements,” “Ex-Mørtis,” “Farewell II Flesh,” “Assault & Batteries,” “The Shower Scene” and “Rainy Day,” along with a select few hits off their 2018 LP ‘The Silver Scream’. Next up for INK, the guys will team up with Black Veil Brides and Motionless In White for a beefy North American trek in March and April. Dubbed the ‘Trinity of Terror,’ the 31-date outing jump starts on March 17th in Mesa, AZ at the Mesa Amphitheater and runs through April 27th in Norfolk, VA at Chartway Arena, while invading venues in major markets like LA, Salt Lake City, Huntington (for a return at The Paramount on 4/15) and more along the way.
