Ukrainian metal powerhouse Jinjer recently concluded their 2021 North American tour alongside Suicide Silence and All Hail the Yeti. The outing launched on October 22nd in Seattle, WA at El Corazon and ran through December 12th in Phoenix, AZ at The Pressroom, with tons of sold-out shows along the way, including the November 23rd showing in Brooklyn, NY at Warsaw (which we caught, see photos by Dominick Bianco below).
In NYC, Jinjer performed a 16-song setlist, which included big hits like “On the Top,” “I Speak Astronomy,” “Judgement (& Punishment),” “Perennial,” “Teacher, Teacher,” “Vortex” and much more. All Hail the Yeti kicked off the evening with a 7-track offering consisting of a healthy mix of tunes from their entire discography, dishing out numbers like “Suicide Woods,” “Headless Valley,” “Slow Season,” “Witch Is Dead” and more. Due to a positive Covid test in their touring camp, Suicide Silence were forced to miss a few shows on the run (Warsaw gig included).
Speaking at the end of the trek, Jinjer declared, “We did it! This tour was simply amazing. We played in front of 50,000 fans in 2 months making this our most successful run ever 🤘🏽🖤💪 … Huge thanks to Suicide Silence, All Hail The Yeti and the entire Jinjer team involved behind the stage- giving 200% each night to make this tour what it is! And lastly, thanks to all of you in the crowd for showing up each night and proving that live music is not only alive and well- but anything is possible if you put your heart into it … see you somewhere on tour again in 2022!! #staysafe”
More on the Jinjer front, the band recently unleashed their powerful new music video for song “Disclosure!” — check out the clip after the gallery. The video single comes off the band’s 2021 full-length opus on Napalm Records, ‘Wallflowers.”
