In addition, a press release says:

In recognition of the album’s release, and Rise Against’s decades-long social justice and political activism that has long informed their music, Mayor Lori Lightfoot has proclaimed June 4 “Rise Against Day in Chicago,” the city where the band originally formed in 1999, and where two of the band members still call home.

Also on Friday, beginning at 5 PM CT, Rise Against will commandeer Chicago’s Reckless Records (the Wicker Park store at 1379 N. Milwaukee Ave.) for a special in-store appearance – the store’s first in more than a year. The 50 fifty lucky fans who purchase a copy of Nowhere Generation will have the opportunity to see a special Tim McIlrath solo acoustic set at the store. After the performance, the entire band will sign copies of the new album for everyone in attendance.
