Tommy Vext teases cover of “Hunger Strike” by Temple of the Dog

Former Bad Wolves singer Tommy Vext is currently teasing a cover of the track “Hunger Strike,” which was originally made famous by defunct supergroup Temple of the Dog (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam). A brief in-studio performance video of the song was posted to Vext’s Instagram Reels — check out the clip below.

ICYMI, the start of 2021 saw Vext launch a GoFundMe campaign to help kick off his solo career. The crowd-funding page has so far raised over $180,000 since January. As a solo artist, Vext has showcased covers of tunes from Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Nirvana and others.

Just last month Vext hit the road for a string of Texas shows as part of his ‘F**k Cancel Culture‘ tour, taking over venues in Ft. Worth, El Paso, Austin and more.
