Upon A Burning Body drop off DevilDriver tour due to COVID

Upon A Burning Body have been forced to pull out of the remaining dates of the “Strike And Kill Tour” with DevilDriver, Ov Sulfur and Cultus Black after members of their touring camp tested positive for COVID.

The band announced the news in a statement today, explaining that they made the decision to leave the tour to avoid putting others at risk.

Upon A Burning Body said:

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the safety of others, we will not be playing the remainder of the Strike & Kill Tour.

Some of our camp has tested positive for COVID and it just wouldn’t be right to continue putting everyone else at risk.

We are sorry, and it hurts us to not be able to play these shows. We promise to make it up to everyone soon.

Thank you for understanding.

“The Strike And Kill Tour” is scheduled to continue without Upon A Burning Body, with six shows remaining on the run. The trek wraps up September 5 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California.

Remaining dates:
August 30 – Salt Lake City, UT – The Depot
September 1 – Boise, ID – Treefort Music Hall
September 2 – Reno, NV – Club Underground
September 3 – Sacramento, CA – Goldfield
September 4 – San Jose, CA – The Ritz
September 5 – Anaheim, CA – House of Blues
