German symphonic metal band Xandria have canceled their scheduled performance in Belgrade, Serbia, after being unable to obtain the necessary paperwork to enter the country in time.
The band confirmed the cancellation in a statement shared on social media, expressing disappointment and apologizing to fans who had planned to attend.
“We are very saddened to say that, unfortunately, we have to cancel our show in Belgrade, Serbia, as we were unable to obtain the necessary paperwork to enter the country in time,” Xandria wrote.
“We are deeply sorry and very disappointed, especially for everyone who bought a ticket and was looking forward to the show. Please contact your ticket seller for a refund.”
The group also thanked fans for their understanding and expressed hope that they would be able to return to Belgrade in the future.
No replacement date was announced.
