LA metallers Bad Wolves are currently teasing a cover of the Chris Stapleton super hit song, “Tennessee Whiskey” [originally written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove, and as previously covered by George Jones, as pointed out by commenter “T”], via singer Tommy Vext’s Instagram account (check out the brief clip below).
“Here’s my first attempt at singing a country song, how did we do gang?” says Vext via his social page. Will we see a full version of said cover track on Bad Wolves’ Patreon page? Who knows (EDIT: The band have made the full version of said cover track available via their Patreon page).
Bad Wolves’ crowdfunding campaign has thus far featured covers of Big Pun/Fat Joe, Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Alice in Chains and more.
Earlier this month, the band also teased a cover of Tears For Fears’ “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.”
Most recently, Bad Wolves offered a guitar playthrough for their singles “I’ll Be There” and “Foe or Friend,” along with a lyric video for their song “Learn To Walk Again.”
In addition, the band’s 2019 song “Sober” is being featured in the upcoming flick ‘Sno Babies’ (watch the trailer).
Lastly, Bad Wolves recently started work on a brand new full-length album, the follow-up to 2019’s ‘N.A.T.I.O.N.’ — stay tuned for more details.
